Ordering Green Glass glassware
Orders must be placed in writing (fax, e-mail or U.S. mail) and include
the following information: purchase order number, company name, name,
title and contact information (phone number and e-mail address) of
person placing the order, shipping address, billing address and
requested delivery date. Also specify if you wish to receive a "Product
Proof" in addition to our standard "Paper Proof" (see Product Proof
section below).
All
orders will be confirmed by way of a Sales Order Confirmation invoice
to the client via fax or e-mail. This will detail glass ranges,
quantities, payment terms, dispatch date and any other special
instructions. The order shall be deemed correct if we do not hear
otherwise within 48 hours.
For custom imprint orders, the client
will receive a Paper Proof of the client's artwork, as it is to appear
on the glassware. Any corrections to the Paper Proof artwork are
requested to be made in writing (fax or e-mail) to Green Glass North
America within 48 hours of receipt. Orders cannot be logged for
production until the Paper Proof (if appropriate) has been approved.
Delays in approving the artwork will serve to affect the quoted
dispatch date and rush charges may be incurred.
Cancellations
Client will be invoiced for all costs incurred prior to cancellation.
Production Time
Standard: 3 weeks on receipt of an order. Please note that in the case
of custom imprinted orders, this lead-time begins after the signed
approval of the Paper Proof. Allow additional time if a Product Proof
is also required.
Rush orders must be authorized by the factory. A rush charge of 20% of order value will apply.
Packaging
Four glasses of any one style to a box. Twelve of these boxes make up a carton.
Custom
Packaging Available: Feel free to supply a packaging objective/design
brief and budget guideline. Green Glass will provide an estimate for
design, prototype development and costs for an order.
Payment Terms
For orders of up to $1,000 (excluding shipping), in full prior to dispatch.
For orders above $1,000 (excluding shipping), 50% on order and balance prior to dispatch.
Account balances over 30 days will be charged interest at a rate of 25 per month (annual rate of 24%).
Logo (imprint work)
To achieve logo accuracy, black & white camera-ready artwork
needs to accompany each order. Digital artwork is preferred
and can be provided on a CD Rom or by e-mail to
custom@greenglass.com in .eps or .ai PC format. Please call
to verify additional formats. Please include all screen and
printer fonts used plus any postscript files. Artwork received
by fax, photocopy or business cards cannot be accepted. There
is a one-time setup charge of $75.00 for each logo. Please
be aware that Green Glass may have to make slight modifications
to the artwork layout and font weight for optimal imprint
appearance on our glassware. Any changes will be shown on
your "Paper Proof". Alterations, which deviate from supplied
artwork, will be billed at $75.00/hr.
Logo Style:
All logos are produced by default as a 'clear logo on frosted glass'
(reverse etch) unless otherwise specified by the client. "Frosted"
means the glass has been sandblasted and a "mask" renders the logo
"clear" since the masked area is protected from the sandblasting
process.
For an 'etch' logo the glass remains "clear" and just the logo is rendered.
Color logos are also available. Please request quotation.
Paper Proofs
No charge. You will receive, via fax or e-mail, an image of the logo,
as it is to appear on the glass. This proof must be signed indicating
acceptance and faxed back to Green Glass before decoration can
commence. The approved Paper Proof must be returned within 48 hours, in
order for Green Glass to meet the confirmed dispatch date without rush
charges being incurred.
Product Proofs:
An actual sample glass can be supplied after the Paper Proof
is approved. The artwork charge of $75.00 will at this time
be incurred since a screen has to be made up to allow the
decoration of the Product Proof. Please note that applicable
rush charges on the screen may be incurred if the Product
Proof is urgently required. Shipping charges of the Product
Proof are for the client's account.
If, after seeing the Product Proof, the client requests that
their order be fulfilled with a different style glass or design,
a new artwork charge of $75.00 will be billed. Production
cannot proceed until written approval of Product Proof has
been received.
Samples
In-stock samples are available at $5.75 per glass plus shipping.
For custom samples made from client's bottles:
The client is to ship to Green Glass a minimum of 48 bottles.
Samples made from these bottles cost $15.00 each plus applicable
artwork charges if required. Due to variations in bottles,
no guarantee can be made by Green Glass as to the number of
goblets that can be produced from the bottles supplied.
Shipping Information
Drop/Split shipments
$25.00 charge for each shipment after the first shipment. Shipping charges additional.
Title To Merchandise
Claims recourse with the carrier is the responsibility of the client.
Title to merchandise passes to consignee at time of carrier pickup.
Shipping and handling charges will be applied to invoice. Not
responsible for delayed shipments when given to carrier on time. We
reserve the right to choose best carrier, unless you specifically
request otherwise. Normal shipping is ground freight. Requested ship
dates should allow for time in transit from factory to destination.
Truck shipments will be sent collect.
Trademark/Copyright Use:
Artwork shown on our products is not intended to constitute
an endorsement of Green Glass Inc. by those clients. All copy
submitted by the customer for use will be regarded as being
in full compliance with all legal statutes covering trademarks,
service marks, copyright or similar tools of protection.
Complaints:
In the rare event there is a complaint on an order received, we ask the
client to please advise Green Glass within seven days of receipt.
Product Quality
Green Glass goblets are produced with attention to detail and quality.
The inherent variations in the original bottles used may give rise to
some nominal height variations and wall thickness variations in the
finished glassware. These features are not only considered within
acceptable product standards, but in fact, are part of the unique
character and magic of Green Glass.
Cleaning & Care
Glasses are dishwasher safe
Not suitable for microwave use.
Note,
on first-time use, frosted glasses may finger mark. This is not
permanent and can be washed off with detergent and warm water. For
stubborn marking, a scouring pad can be used without fear of scratching
the glass. Towel dry.
