We are intensely committed to making your shopping experience and merchandise satisfaction as easy, convenient and enjoyable as possible.   We want you to feel good about helping move toward a sustainable world through the purchase of our reclaimed bottle glassware products, and for that reason we stand behind everything we make with a ‘no problem’ return policy.


“No Problem” Return Policy


Your satisfaction is our top priority.   We all love getting packages in the mail – especially if it’s a surprise – and we hope that you were thrilled with the contents of yours. A lot of patience, time and tender loving care went into making those items just for you!   However, if for any reason you decide that you don’t like what you received, or don’t think you’ll be able to re-gift it (could make someone really happy), you have our blessings to send it back for a complete refund (minus shipping) within 30 days.   All returned items must be in resalable condition, and must be as carefully packed by you as it was by us, in the original box with original packing slip.   Keep in mind that our biodegradable packing peanuts may have compressed during its first trip out to you, and additional packing material may be necessary in its return trip to us.


Before returning any merchandise, you must first contact us via phone or email to receive a return authorization number.   If you send the merchandise without first getting your authorization number, a 10% restocking fee will apply (not trying to be mean, just appreciate a ‘heads up’.)


If it was our fault and an item was defective, after a sincere apology and plea for forgiveness, we will gladly credit, exchange, or provide a refund equivalent to the original price including shipping cost. If you decide on exchanging your merchandise, we will ship a replacement to you as quickly as possible.   You may sometimes be asked to send back the defective item at our expense.




Happy and Satisfied Customers


We are nuts about our customer service and will do anything legal to make sure you are happy and satisfied with your Green Glass Company experience.   Please send us an email telling us about your experience.   Glowing emails are wonderful and make us very happy!   However, we aren’t perfect and if your experience wasn’t quite up to snuff, please let us know that as well.   Every effort will be made to make any necessary changes so that similar situations will not occur in the future.




Broken Stuff (Damaged Merchandise)


Nobody likes getting broken stuff, so if your merchandise arrives damaged in anyway, please contact the carrier who made delivery.   After following their instructions for making a claim, please give us a call and let us know that you filed your claim and required the carrier to return the merchandise to us.   We will then send you a replacement as quickly as we can.



The Dreaded Back Order


We promise to make every effort to notify you of out of stock items when you place your order.   Since we rely on bottles from the waste stream, we may on occasion experience back orders of certain products.   Making environmentally friendly glassware products can leave us with our hands tied at times.   If you have ordered multiple items, we always give you the option of splitting your order and sending what we have and back ordering what we don’t have, or waiting and sending it all together.    





In the unlikely event that a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information as a result of our poor typing proficiency, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for the product listed at the incorrect price.   If you notice a typo and bring it to our attention, you will be rewarded handsomely.

Can I get a little Privacy?   (Privacy Policy)


We respect your privacy and we commit ourselves to protecting it at all costs.   Your information will never be shared, sold, or compromised in any way.  


When placing an order with us, you’ll be using our secure server which prevents any unauthorized access.





Getting it to you (Shipping)


We want you to get your merchandise as quickly as possible, to ensure the fastest, most hassle free merchandise delivery, we have chosen UPS as our shipping partner.   However, if you prefer a different carrier, we are happy to accommodate.   All packages, unless otherwise specified, will be shipped UPS ground.   All shipping charges are standard UPS charges plus a 2% handling fee.  



Our Carbon Footprint (Reducing our Impact on the Environment)


We like to consider our glass products to be truly ‘Green’ as opposed to recycled glass products which require enormous amounts of energy to crush into cullet and then melt down to be recast or blown into glassware.   Taking advantage of repurposing glass bottles into a product of equal or greater value than the original, while consuming less energy, water and raw material, we by virtue of our process, produce a smaller manufacturing carbon footprint than recycling the glass.   Actually, though, we aren’t perfect and there is always room for improvement.   When we see opportunity, we like to take action.   One such area of opportunity is purchasing carbon offset credits to counter balance the fuel used to transport bottles from our supply partners to our location in Weston.   We are also looking into 100% wind power for our electricity needs through wind power credits.  


We take the shipping of our products and the impact that it has on the environment very seriously.   We understand that it doesn’t end with having ‘Green’ products, but that it also incorporates how those products are made, packaged and distributed.   A lot of our shipping materials, like our bottles, are re-used.   You will likely see the label of other businesses on our boxes because we reuse most of the boxes that come into our warehouse. When we must purchase boxes, we choose those with recycled content. Many of our boxes are cushioned with biodegradable cornstarch ‘peanuts’ – the dog loves ‘em. These completely dissolve in water within seconds. If you happen to see Styrofoam peanuts in a box you receive from us, don't worry – we didn't buy them, we are recycling them and we encourage you to do the same. If you can't use them, please take them to a local packaging store that can reuse them or ‘freecycle’ them.


As our business grows – by leaps and bounds, we hope -   we’ll be able to increase our leverage and gently influence the choices of our vendors and partners.   We are doing everything we can to continually decrease the strains that we personally and as a company, place on our environment, while still being able to provide for ourselves, all the members of The Green Glass Company team and their families.   Of course, let’s not forget about providing you with some of the most unique, beautiful and inspirational reclaimed glass products on the planet.
